The Curtain Hotel (Shoreditch, London) has previously hosted events for Nike, Burberry and Galdem, and has invited Jade Palace to host an evening event as part of their cultural programme – to invite Jade Palace’s youth and fashion industry centered audiences to come together.

The event focuses on introducing our East Asian culture and showcase the creative works that is being produced. The event, titled Autumn Night Market, centers around the concept of Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, an East Asian harvest festival commonly celebrated with outdoor reunions among friends and relatives to eat mooncakes and watch the moon as a symbol of harmony and unity.

Focusing on the concept of harmony and unity, the spatial design is inspired by Asian night market setting. Transforming the space into street market stalls to showcase Jade Palace’s items and to launch the limited edition publication, Jade Palace Collective presents: YAT PIT – a collection of printed objects that crosses between a brand book and lookbook to celebrate the exclusive stockist for a contemporary fashion brand YAT PIT.

The publication has been featured on leading creative platform such as It’s Nice That for it’s design and Jade Palace’s unique perspective as a platform. The evening included a food stall by Malaysian born chef Christine Wong as well as beverages available through Red Rooster situated within The Curtain.
